Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario: Peer Support Training Series
Scope
Training video series | Peer support education | Internal communications
Overview
In partnership with YWHO and CAMH, this 4-part video series was created to support the training and onboarding of youth peer supporters across Ontario. The series features six interviews with peers who have lived experience in mental health, alongside executive leadership, to reflect both the lived realities and organizational value of peer-informed care.
Creative Roles
I directed and produced the entire project, including all post-production. My trusted creative partner Adrian Mehes led cinematography and lighting. Together, we delivered a grounded, human-centered training series that balances clarity, warmth, and professionalism for internal use across the province.
Approach
The series was built to affirm and elevate the role of peer support within a clinical system. Interviewees shared their stories, insights, and contributions to the evolving YWHO model of care — offering real-world reflections that new peer supporters could immediately relate to. The content was structured with flexibility in mind: equally suited for group training sessions or individual onboarding.
